Pastoral Care

YPC’s pastoral care extends beyond church members to caring for the wider community. YPC conducts weddings, funerals, prepares couples for marriage, and visits people who are sick in hospital.

Community Care

We desire to demonstrate God's love to those around us in practical ways.

YPC Community Care was set up to assist families in crisis or urgent need who are part of the church community or have been referred to YPC.

Community Care assess people’s needs and how we can help. We do not provide ongoing handouts, but we do arrange emergency meals and groceries when appropriate. We can refer people to appropriate counselling and support groups which are run on site. If you or your family is in urgent need or emotional crisis, please contact the church office.

Community Care activities are made possible by the generous support of our church and local community, including businesses and organisations. YPC has been able to channel donations to people in need in our local area. Such gifts have included food, furniture and children’s holiday programs, to name a few.
